Dr. Scott Hamel from UAA presented the findings from their ongoing Snow Load Research project.

The UAA research team has also successfully secured a research grant which will allow them to continue this path of research and to develop improved snow load maps for the State.

Snow Load Research
SEAAK is partnering with the UAA School of Engineering to research snow loads in Alaska.


Upcoming Events

SEAAK holds regular meetings every other month throughout the year.  Meetings are held at the BP Energy Center and run from 11:30 to 1:30.

In addition, special seminars are made available when possible.
